Valuing care and compassion for others over profit, Scott Alexander Rose, MBA, MNM, EdD, FP has excelled in helping people with health insurance issues through Mainstreet Solutions LLC since 1993. Serving as the owner and a certified international specialist, he formed the company while originally involved in the real estate field and as a performing arts teacher in Boca Raton, Florida, a role he held for 15 years. He wound up with a severe case of the flu at this time, rendering him severely ill and bedridden—during which he told himself that when he emerged from his illness, he would dedicate himself to helping others navigate their own illnesses and the financial circumstances around them. Over the course of his career, he has focused on medical, disability, and life insurance, financial planning, and long-term care—always putting the needs of his clients first. “While profits are important,” he said, “it should not exceed the importance of the service.”

As a testament to his commitment to helping others, Dr. Rose has also been incredibly active with Limitless Horizons International and previously served as president of the Life Care Foundation on Disabilities. Equally involved politically, he has served as a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and was a Florida representative with the White House Office of Public Liaison. For his efforts in the field, he has been honored with the total of Insurance Expert of the Year for 2021 and 2022 by both the International Lawyers Journal and Finance Monthly. However, the recognition he has been proudest of was an award from the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate in 2016, which meant a lot to him as it focused on his years in education rather than his current career.

A longtime member of the Florida Association of British Business, Dr. Rose has also been affiliated with the Palm Beach County Underwriters Association and the Underwriters Association. Looking ahead toward the future, he strives to continue to serve and develop in his industry and enjoy watching the field grow.
